J.J. Redick Scores 30 Points Against Detroit
6 years agoThere was some surprise when the Philadelphia Sixers announced that shooting guard J.J. Redick wouldn't be moved to the starting lineup with Ben Simmons (back) out, but head coach Brett Brown wanted to keep Redick in his current sixth-man role. But despite Landry Shamet earning the start, Redick went on an offensive tear, scoring 30 points on 9-for-21 shooting, including six made threes. Redick also added in six rebounds and six assists and played all the crunch time minutes in the overtime loss to the Pistons. Redick's ability to hit from outside always makes him a threat, and that should remain true against the Bucks on Wednesday, who are allowing the 11th-highest three-point percentage.
