Jared Goff Will Continue To Air The Ball Out

5 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff has remained aggressive in the air, throwing the ball 49 times for 295 yards in the team’s 30-29 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. Incredibly, Goff’s performance came on a short week; the fourth-year QB had just thrown 68 passes, the third-most in league history, in a Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on the horizon, expect Goff’s historic season to continue. After all, the 49ers boast an extremely strong front-seven that should shut down the run game and force Goff to make quick passes. Additionally, the absence of Todd Gurley could force head coach Sean McVay to rely even more on the QB’s arm. Expect Goff to throw one or two interceptions during Sunday’s contest, but his high-yardage totals and TD upside make him a high-end QB2.--Siddhant Gannu
