2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. (foot) underwent surgery to fix a stress fracture in his right foot this past week. He is expected to be sidelined for four-to-six months. If he can meet the front end of that estimate, he could be back at some point in November. However, if he winds up taking six months to return, we won't see him until around Christmas or later. Jackson was a stat-stuffer once again in 2021-22. The 22-year-old averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.6 three-pointers per game last year. The team will likely rely upon Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke and Xavier Tillman Sr. to fill Jackson's void until he's back.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
