6 years agoJason Dufner, who is a former winner of the PGA Championship back in 2013, missed his first outright cut at the year's final major since 2009. The American also has on his record a withdrawal at the 2014 PGA Championship held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, but the 41-year-old had put together seven consecutive cuts at the event besides that. Dufner had only played two tournaments entering Bellerive since June, so it is unclear whether or not rust potentially could have played a factor in his four-over par performance on Thursday and Friday. Dufner will be quickly back in action at the Wyndham Championship this week. It will be his first time playing back-to-back weeks since May. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
