5 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Jed Lowrie (knee) won't be activated from the injured list on Friday. Instead, he'll play for Triple-A Syracuse over the weekend and the Mets will re-evaluate him for next week. Those who have stashed the veteran infielder will have to wait a few more days. Lowrie isn't hitting the ball very much on his rehab assignment, so the team wants to give him a little more time. He should play most of the time at the hot corner, but don't expect Lowrie to give you numbers as good as what he posted in his All-Star campaign in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
