3 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar got two hits on Opening Day, despite the team losing 1-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays. The Marlins only mustered three hits total, with Aguilar getting two singles and almost tying the game in the bottom of the ninth with a long fly out to left. Aguilar looked fully locked in despite every other Marlins hitter looking thoroughly overmatched by Tyler Glasnow and the Rays bullpen. Aguilar will have to share some of his playing time with Garrett Cooper this season, but Aguilar should get the bulk of the playing time at first base.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
