6 years agoAtlanta Hawks forward John Collins scored a career-high 26 points on Wednesday against the Washington Wizards, adding 14 rebounds and two three-pointers in 32 minutes. Collins' production is beginning to reward fantasy owners that held onto him during his early-season ankle issues. The second-year pro has averaged 18.8 points and 10.0 rebounds in his past five games. Head coach Lloyd Pierce has been on record saying that Collins hasn't even hit his stride yet and that he wants to play him at least 36 minutes on most nights.
