6 years agoJordan Spieth has had an up-and-down 2018 season. The American has provided no wins on tour so far this year, which would mark his first season without a victory since 2014. However, for as bad as the year has been for the 25-year-old, he has had glimmers of greatness during the major championship events. Spieth has made three of the four cuts during the grand-slam events, including a third-place finish at the Masters and two additional top-15 finishes at the Open Championship and PGA Championship. For all the hoopla surrounding eighth-ranked golfers putting woes, he has now gained strokes on the greens in his previous four trackable rounds. Getting a win on tour during a calendar year is challenging, but Spieth appears to be peaking for the FedExCup Playoffs. He should be considered a significant threat in the several tournaments left this season.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
