6 years agoAfter contending for the first few days at the Genesis Open, Jordan Spieth had a meltdown of epic proportions on Sunday. Spieth shot a 10-over 81, but the result could have been even worse. The American holed four putts of over 10-feet for par on the day but still managed to lose an insane 3.607 strokes on the green during his round. Spieth's issues are currently more mental than anything else, and while he does appear to be slowly regaining his stride, explosions like these are happening far too often. The 24th-ranked player in the world is a bit safer than usual because he is guaranteed four rounds in Mexico, but it is hard to imagine that the 25-year-old isn't a bad shot away from another disaster.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
