2 years agoJordan Spieth will attempt to defend his Valero Texas Open title this week. Spieth captured the 2021 crown with a final score of 18-under par at TPC San Antonio. The Texas native has struggled a bit out of the gate in 2022, with a runner-up finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am being his lone highlight of the year. However, the 28-year-old star has a knack for repeatedly playing well on specific layouts, with this week's Oaks Course being one of his preferred tracks.
