4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn gave up one hit and one walk through six shutout innings and struck out six batters in Sunday's win over the Rangers. This was the first time this season that Dunn didn't allow a run and the six strikeouts are a season high for him as well. Dunn desperately needed a bounce back game after giving up six runs through two innings in his previous start. As great as this start was, realistically not a lot of people benefited from it. Dunn has been too inconsistent this season to be owned and this was only the second time he surpassed four innings of work. Dunn is expected to take on the Angels on Sunday and as good as this start was, it is hard to recommend starting him.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
