5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was the only one of the three usual starting wideouts that actually made it to the field when the bell rung, but he was kept quiet for the vast majority of the game. Allen only officially caught five passes for 48 yards and no scores, though he had a 69-yard touchdown called back due to offensive pass interference. Allen instead played second fiddle to a cast of backups like Dontrelle Inman and Lance Kendricks. By the time he started to get rolling, the game was becoming a bit of a blowout, and the team leaned on the run game to drain the clock. Expect Allen to be loud again soon enough.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
