6 years agoA lack of length off of the tee would appear to be an issue for Kyle Stanley at Torrey Pines, but the 34th-ranked player in the world has done just fine in his past four appearances, posting four made cuts to go along with two of those finishes coming inside the top-25. Stanley is a world-class ball striker that doesn't make a ton of mistakes, so perhaps that is what has led to his success, but we still worry about the American at tracks that require distance. In his last 50 rounds compared to the field on courses over 7,400 yards, Stanley is ranked 102nd in bogey avoidance, 124th in par-five scoring and 125th in driving distance. At $7,500 on DraftKings, Stanley will be moderately popular, but despite all the positives surrounding him this week, we still struggle to recommend him as an option due to his lack of length. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
