2 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving has been the center of trade rumors this summer, but a recent report from the New York Post suggests that he may not be going anywhere. On Tuesday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reported that a source close to Irving told the Post that Irving has every intention of remaining with the Nets, whether or not Kevin Durant is with the team this coming season. Meanwhile, Durant's trade request has been losing a bit of steam lately, due to the fact that the Nets haven't been able to find a suitable trade partner. As a result of both of these developments, it's looking a bit more likely that we could see both stars back in Brooklyn next year despite the media storm that Durant's trade request caused over the past few weeks.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
