Lakers Inquiring On Buddy Hield Again
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Lakers were reportedly inquiring about Indiana Pacers guard Buddy Hield earlier this offseason. Talks between the two teams had slowed down, but according to NBA reporter Dave McMenamin, the two parties have re-engaged in discussions lately. Hield is currently on contract for the next two seasons and he's due nearly $40 million over the two-year stretch. He split the 2021-22 season between the Pacers and Sacramento Kings and averaged 15.6 points per game while shooting 36.6% from three-point range. He'd be a logical replacement for Malik Monk, who signed with the Kings this offseason.
