5 years agoThe Detroit Lions signed their first-round pick, tight end T.J. Hockenson, to a four-year rookie contract on Thursday. Hockenson was the eighth overall pick of the draft and figures to have a substantial role as the main pass-catching tight end in his rookie season as the safety blanket for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Be careful not to overvalue him in redraft leagues, as rookie tight ends often struggle to make the jump to the next level in their first seasons.
