5 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers placed catcher Manny Pina (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with a strained right hamstring and recalled catcher Jacob Nottingham from Triple-A San Antonio in a corresponding move. Pina was injured on Wednesday night running to first base. Nottingham was hitting .247 with a .351 on-base percentage, two homers and 10 RBI in 26 games on the farm. He will serve as the backup to Yasmani Grandal and has very little fantasy appeal. Manager Craig Counsell said Pina isn't expected to have an extended absence. Pina was hitting just .133 with a home run and two RBI.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
