6 years agoHouston Astros utility man Marwin Gonzalez is sitting Sunday against the Rays. Gonzalez has been awful over the past two weeks batting just .095 through 42 at bats. Gonzalez has been lucky to get playing time recently with a few injuries throughout the lineup, but it seems like even with Carlos Correa and George Springer out, the Astros still don't want to start him. Kyle Tucker, a big time Astros hitting prospect, could be up soon which would make playing time for Gonzalez even more scarce. The eligibility is nice, but as of now, Marwin Gonzalez is over owned at 61%, if he is on your waiver wire, you can feel comfortable leaving him there.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
