6 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried was hit on Tuesday by a line drive off the bat of Spencer Kieboom - he got the out to end the inning and walked off. The following is possibly the weirdest sentence in fantasy baseball history: Kevin Gausman, the pitcher who spent his whole career in the American League prior to his recent trade, pinch-hit for Fried to end his day ... and got hit by a pitch. Kolby Allard came on to pitch for Fried. This was likely a precautionary measure by the Braves. Stay tuned.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
