Michael Badgley Hopes No One Talks About Him

5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers kicker Michael Badgley sprung on the scene last season to snag the job and ran with it. Now he's hoping nobody talks about him. Badgley told reporters this week that while he doesn't have any specific competition in camp, he still feels like he's proving something every time he kicks because veterans like Philip Rivers, Mike Pouncey and Thomas Davis are watching. With that kind of pressure on himself, he noted that ideally nobody will have to talk about him. They'll just know that he's going to do his job. With an offense that is already being affected by a holdout and an injury among their top skill players, expect Badgley to get plenty of opportunities this season.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
