5 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman/first baseman Michael Chavis, the team's No. 1 prospect and No. 79 overall per MLB Pipeline, ranks second in baseball with four spring homers. However, he was optioned to Triple-A on Tuesday and the team doesn't have an opening for his power bat right now. He'll continue to work on improving his defense at third base while also getting exposure at first and second on the farm. The 23-year-old hit .298/.381/.538 with nine home runs and 27 RBI over three minor league levels last year. Keep his name handy in dynasty/keeper setups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
