6 years agoSeattle Mariners DH Nelson Cruz is not in the lineup Sunday afternoon. Cruz has been dealing with a bruised foot and was also hit by a pitch on the elbow in Saturday's game, so with the Mariners having Monday off, they are just going to give Cruz an extra day of rest to heal up before they take on Oakland on Tuesday. Cruz has been off to a disappointing start to the season thus far, but he has proven to be one of the most consistent hitters of the last few years.
