6 years agoSan Francisco Giants backup catcher Nick Hundley is starting Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks in place of Buster Posey. Hundley only has 17 at-bats in the past two weeks and is hitting .235 through them. He is set to face Zack Godley on Sunday, who sports a 2.89 ERA when playing at home, is tougher on righties than lefties, and has pitched a lot better over his last few starts. Hundley meanwhile is batting .221 against right handed pitching with a .661 OPS and 22 strikeouts in 68 at-bats. It is not a good matchup for the veteran journeyman and he should be left on the waiver wire.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
