3 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Nick Solak is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers. He will get the day off against right-hander Casey Mize after hitting .158 (3-for-19) with three strikeouts and two runs scored over five games in July. The 26-year-old is mainly an option in deep-league formats after slashing .229/.297/.361 with nine home runs and three stolen bases across 343 plate appearances in 2021. Eli White is leading off and will handle second base duties while Solak gets the day off. Fantasy managers can look for a different streaming option as White has struggled most of this season.
