5 years agoThe Carolina Panthers selected West Virginia quarterback Will Grier with the No. 100 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. Grier will become the heir apparent to Cam Newton under center in Carolina. The 37th pick of the third round has excellent touch as a passer, although his arm isn't the strongest. Grier is also pretty mobile outside the pocket and was very accurate in college. He'll become a great backup to Newton, who has now had offseason shoulder surgery two years in a row. Grier will obviously be undraftable in single-year formats, but he'll be a fine selection in dynasty/keeper drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
