3 years agoThe Oklahoma City Thunder selected forward Peyton Watson with the final pick of the first round of the 2022 NBA draft. Watson was then traded from the Thunder to the Denver Nuggets alongside two future second-rounders in exchange for JaMychal Green and a 2027 protected first-rounder. Watson played just one season of college basketball at UCLA before declaring for the NBA. He wound up seeing limited minutes on a deep, veteran UCLA squad last year, averaging just 12.7 minutes per game. Standing at 6'8" with some promising ball-handling abilities and defensive upside, he could wind up being a solid rotational player for the Nuggets within a few years if he can continue developing his game.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
