Ricky Tiedemann Solid In Loss On Friday
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays right-handed pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann went five solid innings for Low-A Dunedin on Friday, allowing two earned runs on three hits and two walks, while striking out six. Tiedemann, the sixth-ranked prospect in the Blue Jays organization per MLB Pipeline, is off to an impressive 2022. Over five starts, he owns a 1.44 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and 39 strikeouts over 25 IP. Drafted in the third round in 2021 by the Blue Jays, Tiedemann projects to reach the majors by 2024, according to MLB Pipeline. If he continues to dominate at Low-A, his trajectory could accelerate, and we may also see him move up prospect ranks over the course of the season. He should be on the radars of managers in competitive dynasty leagues if not already rostered.
