3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman is getting the day off on Wednesday as the team takes on left-hander Zach Logue and the Oakland Athletics. Austin Meadows will be slotting in as the team's leadoff hitter for the game and he'll be joined in the outfield by Derek Hill and Willi Castro. Grossman has had a rough time at the plate so far in May. Over 10 games this month, he's slashing .125/.293/.188 with 11 strikeouts. The 32-year-old hit a career-high 23 home runs last year, but he has yet to go yard during the 2022 season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
