5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers shooting guard/small forward Rodney McGruder will be on the sidelines for the second straight game Thursday due to a sprained right ankle. Los Angeles deployed a nine-man rotation without McGruder in the mix Tuesday, with the trio of Patrick Beverley, Landry Shamet and Lou Williams handling the load in the backcourt. McGruder was a solid contributor over the past three seasons for the Miami Heat, and figures to slot into bench duty for the Clippers when he suits up, with his next chance coming Saturday against Phoenix.--Jesse Borek
