4 years agoWhile we aren't talking about sub-10 percent ownership, it is trending in the direction that Rory McIlroy is looking like he might be the contrarian option in the $10,000 range. Part of that might be because the Irishman will be making his first start at TPC Scottsdale, but some gamers have remained frustrated with the poor weekend rounds they have gotten recently out of the 31-year-old. McIlroy is playing by different standards than most golfers, evident by his eight consecutive top-25 worldwide finishes being viewed as a disappointing run, but there is no doubt that his lack of winning upside has been tough to stomach. The sixth-ranked player in the world should be considered playable in all game types, and his roughly 12 percent ownership total remains intriguing in GPP builds. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
