Russell Wilson Faces Toughest Challenge Of 2019

4 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is currently the front-runner for the MVP award, but he's about to face his hardest matchup of the season. Wilson will be facing the stingiest defense in the NFC on the road when he goes against San Francisco in Santa Clara on Monday night. Wilson has been nearly unstoppable this year, but the 49ers Defense is allowing a measly 8.22 fantasy points on average to opposing quarterbacks. They got touched up a little bit by the Cardinals last week, so there's a bit of hope, but this week's performance is mostly going to ride on how magical Wilson can truly be. Fantasy owners can't avoid starting an MVP candidate without a heck of a Plan B, but those who do roll with Wilson will need to keep their fingers crossed.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
