3 years agoThe Portland Trail Blazers selected guard/forward Shaedon Sharpe seventh overall in the 2022 NBA draft. The 19-year-old is one of the biggest mysteries in the 2022 draft class. He was ranked as the No. 1 overall player in the high school graduating class of 2022, but he skipped his senior year of high school to attend the University of Kentucky. He then went on to declare early for the 2022 NBA draft and he sat out the entirety of the 2021-22 NCAA season. Sharpe is a fantastic athlete with the makings of a promising outside shot. He'll be a bit of a project for the Blazers, but the tools are certainly all there to allow him to become a strong wing to compliment star point guard Damian Lillard.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
