7 years agoAs far as first starts are concerned, Si Woo Kim's first U.S. Open at Erin Hills last season is about as exciting as it gets. Kim entered Sunday within striking distance of the title after shooting rounds of 69,70 and 68, placing him at nine-under par and within three shots of the lead. Unfortunately for Kim, Sunday was a different story. Kim shot a three-over par 75 to fall into a share of 13th place. The 22-year-old South Korean golfer will give the U.S. Open a second try this year at Shinnecock Hills. Shinnecock Hills, in theory, should be a decent fit for Kim's game. In his last 24 rounds compared to the field, he ranks 21st in strokes gained off the tee. Kim has also turned himself into a cut-making machine, making 16 of 19 cuts on the season. At just a measly $7,000 price tag on DraftKings, Kim has enormous upside potential. He makes for an interesting GPP contrarian play in New York this weekend. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
