6 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder and rookie prospect Steven Duggar was promoted Sunday morning following a trade that sent Austin Jackson and Cory Gearrin to Texas. Not only was he promoted to the majors, but he is also playing center field and leading off in Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Throughout his minor league career, Duggar has never been a source of power or steals and is only mediocre in batting average and his slash line so far this season is .272/.354/.421. As of now, it's safe to leave Duggar on the waiver wire until he shows something. If he continues to lead off, it could lead to some production, but there isn't much fantasy value in a outfielder with a career high 10 home runs and has only hit .300 once in the minors.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
