4 years agoWhen we look at Sungjae Im's strokes-gained total compared to the field over his past 50 rounds, we get an interesting split in production between surfaces. When faced with any other grass type than the one he gets this weekend, the South Korean grades a paltry 28th out of 42 golfers. However, that number climbs to a stout fifth when placed onto Bermuda greens. Im will look to keep that positive momentum rolling at a venue that should highlight his birdie-making nature, although his recent struggles around the putting surface could come into play if he cannot locate the broad putting surfaces at Kapalua.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
