5 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays optioned outfielder Teoscar Hernandez to Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday and recalled infielder Richard Urena from Buffalo in a corresponding move. Hernandez, 26, hit 22 home runs last year but was hitting .189 with a .299 slugging percentage in 39 games so far in 2019. Expect Hernandez to be back this year, but he can be dropped in most leagues for now. Urena will serve in a utility infield role and will have limited fantasy appeal with little playing time. Outfielder Socrates Brito cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Buffalo.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
