Travis Benjamin Mentoring Young Receivers

5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin has bumped up in the depth chart this season with the departure of Tyrell Williams, and he's now taken on the role of big brother. Since Benjamin is the team's longest-tenured receiver, though he's only been with LA since 2016, he's apparently become a source of wisdom and advice for the younger generation. He told reporters this week that he's made a point of trying to ensure he's showing the younger guys the right way to do things, and the coaches have been sending guys to him for help when they ask questions. Benjamin should be the team's primary deep threat this season, and with Keenan Allen hobbled by an ankle injury, he may have a big start to the year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
