4 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer was thrust into the starting role on Sunday night in the team's critical rivalry game after Chris Carson (hip) and C.J. Prosise (arm) both went down last week. The team signed Marshawn Lynch in the meantime, but Homer was expected to get the bulk of the work. He ended up carrying the ball 10 times for an impressive 62 yards, and he brought in five passes for another 30. While Homer has still yet to find the end zone for the first time in his professional career, it was an admirable performance by the rookie out of Miami. He'll now face the task of continuing to hold his own in the playoffs.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
