6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw looked like two different hitters over the course of NLCS Game 2 Saturday. Facing the left-handed starter Hyun-Jin Ryu, Shaw was held down and without a hit, while Ryu was in the game. It was not necessarily unexpected as Shaw was basically a .200 hitter versus lefties with only two of his 32 homers. Knowing this, the Dodgers had lefty Alex Wood face Shaw the next time. Shaw would manage to get ahold of a pitch and homer to extend the lead to 3-0 Milwaukee after six innings. The Dodgers would come back to win the game, but Shaw got one over on a weakness of his game.--Jamie Mellor
