Utah Has Considered Sign-And-Trade Deal For Collin Sexton
2 years agoAccording to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Utah Jazz have considered a deal that would land them Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton. For the trade to take place, it would be a sign-and-trade deal that would involve the team trading veteran point guard Mike Conley in exchange for Sexton, who is a restricted free agent. As of now, it sounds like such a deal is a bit of a longshot for multiple reasons. The Jazz likely need to figure out their plan with star guard Donovan Mitchell before making other guard-related moves. Also, Conley wouldn't be the most logical player for the Cavaliers to target. The team could likely find a more suitable return if they were to engage in a sign-and-trade deal involving Sexton.
