4 years agoSan Diego Padres reliever Andres Munoz threw his first simulated game of the spring on Saturday. After fatigue derailed the end of a fantastic rookie season, Munoz is expected to throw another bullpen session on Tuesday with the hope of appearing in his first Spring Training game on Thursday. Munoz posted a 1.69 ERA through 20 MLB appearances in 2019 before allowing six runs over his final 1.2 innings to tarnish to final numbers in his rookie year. Munoz is expected to be a key part of the setup crew behind Kirby Yates and could be an excellent source of holds this season.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
