6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger is sitting again on Sunday against the Rockies. Bellinger sat on Friday night against the lefty Tyler Anderson, but this time is sitting against the right handed Chad Bettis which is a reason for concern. He is batting .098 over the last two weeks and just .149 over the last month. Manager Dave Roberts said the team has not broached the subject of demoting Bellinger to AAA yet, but the fact that he had to say that is also concerning. Bellinger has looked lost at the plate for a while and now that he is starting to lose playing time, it might be time to bench him until he shows some signs of life.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
