Hideki Matsuyama A Fan Of Muirfield

4 years agoHideki Matsuyama, coming off a T21 finish in Detroit at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, returns to Muirfield Village, a course where he’s had success in the past. His significant course history includes a win in 2014 and two other top-10 finishes in 2015 and 2019. Matsuyama is a great fit for this course considering his strong approach and green game. Last week in Detroit, he was able to gain almost five strokes on approach to go with his 7.44 strokes gained tee to green. He was neutral around the green, and as is often the case, he lost strokes putting. If Matsuyama can catch a hot putter, he is set up to once again turn in a nice finish in Dublin at $10,000 on DraftKings. To be a contrarian, one could justify starting their lineup at $10,000 with Matsuyama.--Aaron Burger
