2 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Hunter Greene will make his next start either Friday or Saturday, according to Reds manager David Bell. Either game would unfortunately have him facing the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. Greene had some concerning velocity metrics in his last start against the St. Louis Cardinals this past Friday. His velocity dip is what is causing his next start to be pushed back a few days. In his second start of the year, he averaged 100.2 mph on his four-seam fastball, but this past Friday, the pitch averaged just 95.8 mph. The surface numbers haven't looked great for the rookie this year as he is 1-2 with a 5.27 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP, but he's certainly flashed ace potential and fantasy managers should attempt to hold onto him if possible.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
