4 years agoKansas City Royals third baseman Maikel Franco had his first three-hit game of the year against the Cleveland Indians on Monday. Franco is off to a great start in the month of September. He's recorded hits in six of seven games this month, including three doubles, and his slash line this month is .333/.379/.444. Third base is such a deep position in fantasy that Franco's only real appeal is in AL-only and extremely deep leagues. Anyone in those leagues who needs a healthy bat to fill in for the next couple weeks should take a look at Franco, who could offer steady, albeit unspectacular, production the rest of the way.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
