5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Matt Carpenter (back) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Carpenter has been unable to play much this week due to a lower back strain. Carpenter has been awful with the bat, so maybe having some time off will help him in the long run. Yairo Munoz will bat leadoff and play third base versus righty Matt Carasiti on Tuesday. Munoz has been nearly impossible to get out over the last few weeks.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
