Matthew Fitzpatrick Remains In Phenomenal Form

2 years agoMatthew Fitzpatrick was on a roll before withdrawing from The Genesis Invitational with a stomach illness last month and showed no signs of weakness last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The 27-year-old finished T9 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, marking his third top-10 finish in as many tries in 2022. Fitzpatrick (OWGR No. 25) ranks seventh in strokes gained from tee-to-green this season on the PGA Tour, a significant improvement from previous years. The Englishman now heads to another Florida track, where course length does not present any problems. After missing the cut in his first two tries at TPC Sawgrass, Fitzpatrick has finished 46th, 41st and ninth in his last three attempts.--Greg Berning - RotoBaller
