Tristan Thompson Could Return to Cleveland Next Season

4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson was discussing a contract extension with the organization earlier in the season, but the two sides never finalized a deal. The Cavs are reportedly interested in bringing back Thompson on a team-friendly deal, according to Chris Fedor. Thompson has seen a smaller role on the team since Andre Drummond was acquired at the trade deadline. Thompson had decent fantasy value at the beginning of the season, but that took a hit when Drummond came into town. He's expected to continue to have a limited role until Drummond or possibly Kevin Love head elsewhere.
