One and Done Selections - Masters
Joe Nicely - Justin Thomas
Alternate - Jon Rahm
After Spencer and Andrew were able to destroy me with Justin Thomas, I immediately knew that I would be deploying JT at the Masters. With Thomas off the table to both of these guys, I have a chance to get right back into this contest this week.
You probably don’t need me to run down the list of reasons why I’m high on JT’s chances this week, so I won’t...I’ll just say that he can get nuclear hot with his irons, has a game with few weaknesses, and is going to win a green jacket at some point. Team J-Nice hopes that time is now.

Spencer Aguiar - Patrick Cantlay
Alternate - Patrick Reed
I am sticking with my gut here and rolling with Patrick Cantlay to win the 2021 Masters. The American ranks first compared to the field on quick/fast Bentgrass greens over the last 50 rounds, and he adds to his potential by being the only golfer in this field that has gained 1.7 strokes tee to green since the start of the year.
I expect Cantlay to be extremely popular, but it seems justified in this case for a player whose biggest question is "When will he capture his first major?" We know it is just around the corner, and I think Augusta presents him with a prime opportunity to get the job done.
Yearly Earnings - $6,552,913
Yearly Cuts Made - 13/14
Josh Bennett - Jordan Spieth
Alternate - Dustin Johnson
On this week’s edition of “don’t overthink it” which has now had three great weeks in a row, OF COURSE we’re going with Jordan Spieth. Maybe the best part about it in this contest is all three competitors have already used him, so I have a guaranteed unique pick. This pick and the reasons should be pretty obvious. Former champ, and finds himself at the top of the leaderboard seemingly every time he plays here. Even in the worst form of his career he still managed to make the cut when he was missing cuts everywhere else.
This couldn’t be a better course fit for Jordan and it's obvious why he plays well all the time. Off the tee hardly matters and short game REALLY matters. Throw in some good iron play and a good strategist and you have an elite Masters competitor. That’s Jordan Spieth. Assuming he continues form, we should see him contending again this weekend for another jacket and back-to-back tournament wins.
Yearly Earnings - $1,834,400
Yearly Cuts Made - 10/14
Andrew Putters - Patrick Reed
Alternate - Xander Schauffele
I can’t believe I’m even saying this, but I’m all in with PATRICK REED!! Literally, no one is talking about him this week. He’s a past champion and his strengths are around the greens and putting. I don’t get it. I had kind of backed off my call earlier this week the controversial pairing was announced between Reed and Daniel Berger. However, after thinking about it, Patrick Reed thrives on controversy. I can assure you, Reed doesn’t give a damn who he’s playing with, he only cares about putting on his second “Green Jacket” Sunday Night.
