5 years agoPhil Mickelson was one of the most recognizable names in last week's 3M Open field, but it was a short stay in Minnesota for the veteran. Rounds of 74 and 73 left him at five-over par through 36 holes, nowhere near the three-under par cut line. 'Lefty' got off to a fast start in 2019 with a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but we've seen his play decline sharply as the year has progressed. The 49-year-old has now missed the cut in four of his last six starts. Mickelson won't tee it up again until the Open Championship at Royal Portrush in two weeks. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
